<description>PSPad editor is a programmers editor with support for multiple syntax highlighting profiles. It comes with a hex editor, CP conversion, text differences, templates, macros, spellcheck option, auto-completion, Code Explorer and much more. The program is pre-configured for the most popular programming languages (VB, C++, SQL, PHP, ASP, Python etc.) and you can further customize the syntax settings. PSPad includes several additional tools that are especially useful for HTML editing (compress, format code) and also integrates TopStyle Lite and TidyHTML. The program can be used as IDE for any compiler. Additional features include support for project, file browsing, custom shortcuts, built-in FTP client to edit files on the server and much more.</description>

The PSPad editor looks like the editor that I have been looking for the Windows platform. The only thing is code folding that it lacks but that won't stop me from using it. PSPad is my default editor for opening most of the file types. Thanks for creating the editor. There is just one thing I want to ask you guys. Can you help me with the todo list script, because I saw on one of your forums how to fix the object not found exception. But now it is not even showing on the menu. It says something about a definition missing. I will keep on using for my development. Thanks a lot.

I was impressed by this program very much. Let me explain why.

It's absolutely free of charge - I am sure it is a valued argument for most of web developers (especially beginning).

It supports a lot of programming languages and contains a lot of source code templates. The very nice feature is the source code formatting. Let's pretend you got some obfuscated code. PSPad editor will format it to have it readable - I love this feature.

Nowadays I use Scintilla inherited editors (wscite and Notepad++) because they do a lot of things with a text being automated by different ways: via menu and via short-cuts (especially). And I missed those features testing the PSPad editor program. If it will support them I will switch my main editor to PSPad editor instead of scintilla based editors - that's my wish and feature request to the PSPad editor developers.
